We had a very special guest with us today in CEO-Kaden Clark, who shared valuable insight on professionalism with our class.
As a current flight instructor, Kaden brought real-world perspective and experience that truly resonated with our students. He reminded us that it’s not just about who you know-but who knows you. Building a strong reputation and how you show up matters.
He also emphasized that building trust and a strong reputation within your workplace can lead to more opportunities and open doors over time.
He encouraged students to “be a human being, not just a human doing,” highlighting the importance of authenticity, relationships, and enjoying the work you pursue. Kaden also challenged students to job shadow as much as possible—learning what they do and don’t want in a career is just as important as finding what they love.
Kaden stressed that making good decisions isn’t just important in business-it can literally be the difference between life and death, especially in a career like aviation. That perspective left a lasting impression on our group.
Most importantly, he reinforced how presenting yourself professionally can create opportunities and set you apart.
