Our students have been very busy in March: finishing up our class business, starting to talk about their trade show, and having great speakers and site visits!
We’re thankful to Dan Watkins, former Director of God’s Shelter of Love and current pastor of Mt Pleasant Church of God in Assumption, for spending time with our class and helping us dig into one of the most important questions in business and in life-our why.
Dan challenged us to think beyond just making money and reminded us that people don’t connect with products… they connect with purpose, stories, and the heart behind what we do. When your “why” is clear, it drives your decisions, your goals, and the impact you can make on others.
We appreciate Dan sharing his experiences and encouraging our students to build businesses rooted in meaning, not just profit.
