We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Brian Talty, Pastor at First Christian Church, for spending time with our CEO students and guiding them through the process of moving from their “why” to actionable steps.

Brian shared how the methodology from the book Getting Things Done has become an integral part of both his personal and professional life-helping him capture ideas, prioritize effectively, and turn intentions into clear, manageable action steps. His perspective helped students see how structure and intentionality can turn ideas into meaningful progress.

He also spoke to the heart of leadership-what it truly means to lead and care for others. Brian emphasized that working with people is often both the most rewarding and the most challenging part of any role, and that strong leadership requires patience, empathy, and a genuine investment in those you serve.

As an alumni parent, Brian’s continued investment in the program means so much to us. We also want to note that we are catching up on posts-this visit took place in early March, and we are grateful we can still highlight the impact he made.

We truly appreciate Brian sharing his story, his experiences, and practical tools our students can begin using right away. Thank you for continuing to support and pour into our program!
