✈️🔥 Airport Adventure Day! 🔥✈️

Today, the Mount Zion, Illinois CEO class took to the skies—literally! We had an amazing behind-the-scenes tour of the Decatur Airport, complete with a chance to go up in the air (in the tower) and experience aviation from a whole new perspective. 😍✈️

One of the highlights was visiting the air traffic control tower, where students were able to see how flights are monitored and coordinated in real time. They even got to talk with an air traffic controller, learning how communication, TRUST, precision, and quick decision-making keep pilots and passengers safe. 🗣️🛩️

We also spent time with the incredible Airport Rescue & Firefighting team, who showed us their specialized equipment, powerful trucks, and the intense training required to respond at a moment’s notice. 🚒💨
