A big THANK YOU to Marcia Whitley, one of our newest Mt. Zion CEO Board members, for spending time with our class and teaching us the art of writing an effective thank-you note! 📝

Marcia brings such a unique perspective to our board—not only as a retired teacher and CEO alumni parent, but also as someone who believes in being a lifelong learner and investing in the next generation.

In a world of texts, emails, and quick messages, a handwritten thank-you note is becoming a bit of a lost art. That’s exactly why it matters! Taking the time to thoughtfully thank someone can set you apart, strengthen relationships, and leave a lasting impression. And really—who doesn’t love receiving a handwritten note in the mail?

These are the small professional and personal skills that can make a BIG difference, and we’re grateful to Marcia for sharing her experience and wisdom with our students.

Thank you, Marcia, for continuing to teach, encourage, and invest in the next generation of young professionals! 🧡🖤
