This year marks an important milestone — the fifth year of CEO in our community! Five years of connecting students with businesses, mentors, entrepreneurs, and community leaders. Five years of investing in young people and helping them see what is possible for their futures.

CEO — Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities — is so much more than a class. It gives high school students the opportunity to step outside the traditional classroom and into our community, learning firsthand from the business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, and leaders who make our area thrive.

But CEO isn’t just about learning how to start a business. It’s about building people.

It’s about developing confident communicators, problem-solvers, leaders, and young professionals. It’s about teaching students to shake a hand, carry on a conversation, build relationships, take risks, learn from failure, show up professionally, and understand the importance of being part of something bigger than themselves.

For five years, our community has invested in these young people — opening doors, sharing experiences, mentoring, encouraging, and believing in the next generation. And in return, CEO is helping raise young leaders who understand the importance of giving and investing in the communities that invested in them.

We are incredibly fortunate to have CEO right here in our community. 🧡

As we begin Year 5, we celebrate how far this program has come, the students and community members who have helped shape it, and the many young leaders whose lives have been impacted along the way.
